Built in a ring, not in a meeting.

Shows were being run on a system that calculated results in two places at once: once in the database and once in the application. When the two disagreed — and they did — nobody could say which was right, and the argument happened at the rail with owners watching.

So the arithmetic moved to one place and stayed there. Scores, placings, championship points and prize money are all worked out by the database itself, from the rulebook, and the application reads the answer rather than forming a second opinion.

The rest followed from the same principle. Documents print from stored figures, not from a recalculation at print time — reprinting last year's invoice restates last year's VAT rate, not today's. Every mark carries who entered it and when.

It is bilingual because the shows are. Arabic and English are not a translation layer over an English product: both languages run the whole way through, on screen, on the boards and on every document a show issues.
